Pointer
for setting up the laser machining process
The laser machining process is usually set up using a pilot laser. Due to the fact that the wavelength of the pilot laser (approx. 620 nm) differs from that of the working laser, the focus head does not show the visible set-up focus on the plane of the working focus.
The pointer which is used instead of the laser light cable at the focus head replaces the pilot laser. The pointer has a variable light outlet plane. The focus offset is thereby compensated, and the set-up focus of the pointer is moved to the plane of the working focus of the working laser.
The features in overview- Compatible with HIGHYAG and Haas/Trumpf laser light cable receiver (other types on request)
- Congruity of the focus position with the focus of the laser beam
- Energy-saving and material-saving set-up of the machining process without laser or laser light cable.
